Boxes & packing
How heavy can a box be?
Up to 50 lbs per box. That covers a full box of clothes or a solid stack of books. Keep each box under 50 lbs and tape every seam well so it travels safely.
Do I have to buy boxes or packing supplies?
No. We send free heavy-duty boxes and packing materials with your order, plus printed shipping labels, so there is nothing to buy before you start packing.
Can I pack clothes, books or bagged items in a box?
Yes. Pack snugly, keep each box under 50 lbs, and tape it well. Clothes, books and soft bagged items all travel fine as long as nothing can shift around inside the box.
How do I keep track of what's in each box?
Every box has a QR code. Scan it to add the box to your account. That builds your inventory and turns on your coverage, so you can always see which box holds what.
What if something won't fit in a 16-inch box?
Send us the dimensions and we'll tell you if we have a custom box for it, like for a suitcase, mirror or lamp. A custom box is a one-time $10 per shipment with the box included, subject to confirming the item's dimensions.
Add a note with the item and its size (L x W x H) when you order.
Can I store a plastic bin or tote?
Yes, if it fits inside a box we send. Tell us the size of the bin or tote (L x W x H) and we will confirm it fits before you pack it up.
Can I use my own boxes?
Yes. Send us your box dimensions (L x W x H) first and we will assess them before you pack. Sturdy boxes around 16 x 16 x 16 work best, and your own boxes get the same $100 coverage per box.

How much does Endless Storage cost?

How much does box storage cost per month?
Storage is priced per box per month, and prepaying lowers the rate. See your exact price on the storage quote page, which always shows current pricing for your box count.
Can I use my own UPS account to save money?
No need. Our UPS rates are already discounted, and your kit already comes with printed shipping labels, so there is no account to connect and nothing extra to set up.
How do I get a quote for more than 30 boxes?
Contact us with your box count, both addresses and your move date, and our team will price it for you. Our online quote tool goes up to 30 boxes, so bigger moves are handled by our team.
What's included in the price of storage?
Free heavy-duty boxes, packing materials, printed shipping labels, the UPS pickup, and $100 of coverage per box. Storage is priced per box per month, and return costs are assessed at the time of return.
Is the price I am quoted the price I pay?
Yes. The price you are quoted is final. Tax is handled on our end and is not shown as a separate line, so the total in your quote is what you pay at checkout.
Do you have any promos or free months right now?
No. We don't run any promotions right now. Older offers like 3 months free, 90 days free and $1 per box for 3 months have ended, so your quote always shows the current price.
Pickup & shipping
How do I schedule a UPS pickup?
After you order, pick your pickup date. We book the UPS pickup with 24 to 48 hours of notice, and UPS gives you a 3-hour window on the day so you know when to expect them.
Can I pick a pickup date before I pay?
You choose your pickup date right after you order. Once checkout is done, you pick a day that works for you and we book the UPS pickup for that date.
Do I need to be home for UPS pickup?
No, you don't need to be home. Leave your taped, labeled boxes by your door or in the lobby or package room, anywhere UPS can reach them.
If UPS can't get into your building, choose a spot that's open to them.
Can UPS pick up boxes from my storage unit?
Usually, yes. Someone needs to open the unit for UPS, or the facility manager can hold the boxes if the facility allows it. Tell us the facility name and address.
Can I drop my boxes off at a UPS Store?
Yes, at any UPS Store or UPS drop-off location once your boxes are taped and labeled. Tell us when you've dropped them off. We don't take drop-offs at our own facility.
Is pickup included in the price?
Yes. Pickup is included for both storage and moving, along with free boxes, packing materials and printed shipping labels. There is no separate pickup fee on your quote, and the price you are quoted is final.
How fast will my box kit arrive?
Usually in 2 to 4 days, subject to weekends and holidays. Kits ship from New Rochelle, NY, and you can start packing as soon as your boxes arrive at your door.
How long does shipping take?
Usually a few days, depending on distance. Our preferred shipping partners track every box from pickup to delivery, so you can follow each one along the way in your account.
Coverage
How should I pack china and fragile items?
Wrap each piece on its own, fill gaps so nothing shifts, and mark the box FRAGILE. For valuable pieces, ask us about extra coverage before you book your pickup.
How much coverage does each box get?
Every box gets standard coverage of $100, including boxes you supply yourself. That $100 is the maximum coverage per box in all scenarios, and it is included in your price at no extra cost.
What if a box arrives damaged or goes missing?
Contact us and we will open a claim. Each claim is reviewed independently and needs receipts for the contents, pictures, and details of the damage. Coverage is $100 maximum per box in all scenarios.
Storage & returns
How do I get my boxes back from storage?
Request one box or all of them from your account or by email. We ship to any US address, including a new one, so your boxes can go straight to wherever you live now.
Can I send a box back into storage after I get it?
Yes. Place another order in your account for that box, pack it back up, and we will bring it back into storage. You can do this with any box in your account.
Can Endless Storage store furniture?
No. We store boxes only, so furniture, mattresses and other large items can't go into storage with us. If something won't fit in a 16-inch box, ask us about a custom box.
How much does it cost to get a box back from storage?
Return costs are assessed at the time of return. Request one box or all of them from your account or by email, and we will ship them to any US address, including a new one.
How long does it take to get a box back from storage?
Returns are processed as quickly as possible, typically within a few business days. On average, customers receive their boxes within 48 hours. Request any box from your account or by email to start a return.
Can I get a refund on prepaid storage?
No. Prepaid storage is non-refundable. Prepaying for 3, 6 or 12 months locks in a lower per-box rate, and after your prepaid term ends, storage continues month to month.
When does billing start for storage?
Billing starts at checkout. You are charged when you place your order, and the price you see in your quote is the final price you pay, with tax handled on our end.
Can I visit the facility or pick up my boxes in person?
Only in certain scenarios or by request. Most customers never need to visit, since we ship boxes to any US address. If you would like to pick up in person, contact us first and we will let you know.
Moving
How does a move with Endless work?
We send free boxes and packing materials. You pack at your own pace. UPS picks the boxes up and ships them to your new home. You can store them with us first, too.
What's included in a moving quote?
Free heavy-duty boxes, packing materials, printed shipping labels, the UPS pickup, and $100 of coverage per box, all in your per-box price. There is no need to use your own UPS account.
Can you hold my boxes until my new place is ready?
Yes. We'll store your boxes and ship them when you're ready. Return shipping is priced to your new address, and you can request one box or all of them from your account.
Does Endless Storage serve my area?
We pick up and deliver anywhere in the US by UPS. You never have to visit us, and your boxes can ship to any US address when you move or want them back.
